Frama, who are a swiss company are the smallest of all the franking machine manufacturers. Their new Matrix 'F' series was lauched in 2009 after a long wait and all use similar 'HP' printing technology to other manuafcturers. All Frama Franking Machines use their unique 'Comtouch' touch screen system. On the smaller machines the buttons are much smaller than previous models but are backlit for ease of use.
The Matrix F2 ink cartridges have a wireless conteactless chip embedded in them that tell the machines to stop after a defined number of impressions.
Non of the scale platforms are not actually integrated into the machines like other manufactuers so this adds slightly to the foot print required unless you use the perspex stand.
